SI v21 Project Template Bug?

I understand the v22 was just released so this may be moot. But I am not sure if this is intended operation or not for v21. I have three price types in my DT setup that are essentially pricing tiers for higher volume customers. I have one customer that is set for price type #3 or best pricing in their client settings in SI. I have a standard project template built that standardizes a lot of our common settings, files, etc. But I noticed today that despite my customer having their pricing tier set, the template set them at Tier 1. IDK if that is intended operation or not, but I feel like it should match the customer price type settings, not the template price type settings, for this particular field.
EDIT: I tested this more, this ONLY happens when you create a new project, select the customer, then choose to create the project from template. What it does is keep the customer in place, but overwrite the price type to match the template. If I created a new project from template prior to selecting a customer, then the correct price type shows. So I would classify this as a bug.

By design, project template overrides the project settings

Eduardo Voloch I agree, but this specific field maybe should be the exception?
