SI Calendar Events or Tasks that aren't connected to projects
Brian Nelson
You can accomplish this by going into your client data base and creating a client for each type of "non-project" listed above. Under the client field we've created the following formant: ETC (this is our Co name) - 2026 - Training. You would then create another client for meetings, vacations, etc. Once you have these clients create the next step is to create contracts and this is easy since you don't have to add rooms, parts, scope etc, just fill in the required fields. Then mark the contracts accepted and approved. Then you can create a task on the calendar using any of these new contracts and you can add resources, custom descriptions, etc.

100% Agree. We have the same issue, so now we have internal projects in D-Tools where we're our own customer.
To be fair, "internal" projects allow for some good tracking on resource use etc. But sometimes it's just the lads need to bang in a dental appointment or whatever and this really does just need to be a floating event or 'company time'.
