When scanning in serial numbers for similar items on item receipts we would like to know which items belongs to which location.

As we receive a product we like to label it up with its location so it's MAC address and Serial are saved to the correct location but without opening the Project.

Any movement on this? Personally, I don't care if it assigns them randomly, as long as I can print the labels with Serial and Room...

Kevin Frye Seth I have been banging on about this for years now across Dtools support chats, emails, the feedback form etc.  We are having great difficulties now we have grown as a company and with the people who are receipting incoming stock having no working knowledge of the project, they are unable to label a product with its correct location

Can we have products location visible when receipting items so boxes can labelled correctly. We also would like to have the original PO number included in the label aswell.  Many thanks

This feature is a must IMHO. We shouldnt be requiring our team who manage inbound stock to be checking out the project to assign location to a serial number. The ability is definately there as when you have multiple qty of a product on a PO and you then try and edit the qty to a lower number, DTools asks you to confirm which locations you wish to assign to the PO for ordering. Surely the serial number side isnt far behind.
