aka RMA process.. so "Service Tag - RMA #".
Going one step further... Estimated return date field of said repairs or replacement. Would be the basis for follow-up or overdue workflow rules. As well as Shipping tacking number field(s) to and from repair, would be useful as it would cut down on calls looking for status.

Can we mark in a Service Order if equipment is faulty and needs repairing, we would need to be able to show it was sent back to the manufacturer with a "Service Tag" number for that item that could be searchable within the database so you can see where it is via a status for example "Sent to Manufacturer" or "RTB".
