Hi Seth & Kevin Frye, please could this feature get reviewed. When adding an accessory to an item, if the new accessory has accessories of its own, to have a pop up window to ask if you want to include the accessories of the parent accessory. The new sub-accessories would then appear as part of the main parent item. This request has been on the board for a long time and could really do with incorporating.

This would be a fantastic addition. I was just about to create a new thread but found this. Seth we are four years on from the original post. Any chance this is in the pipeline for V20?

Seth It's been almost 3 years (4 months shy of) since this thread came to be. We REALLY NEED accessories to accessories please! A lot of our accessories we're selling now require a lot of sub-parts... which is fine, up until we add that accessory to another device. For example (and this is just a simple example):

TV needs the accessory for a balun. The balun needs an accessory for the ethernet cable.

While I make that a simple reference, we're finding today, we're doing much more complex accessories to accessories where there may be 5-10 options.

So please - gotta get the powers to be to work on that re-engineering... 3 years is a VERY long time in this industry...

That's disappointing, but thank you for letting us know to not keep our hopes up.

This is a long standing request. Similarly the ability to add a package to a package. This would require a complete overhaul on our architecture not to mention all reporting. This is not likely to happen any time soon.

I'd like to see this ability as well

and having the ability to add a product as an accessory of itself.
