While you're at that... please add in the option to use METRIC for lengths and dimensions in the product specs. Many product specs and designs use metric.

A fix is being worked on on the data side and code side.

@seth-enos Naresh Nichani: we should be considering the solution tied to order UOM. If a product is sold in pairs (the "Sell in different units than purchase" box is checked) we store the purchase cost as a field in Order section, divide cost by quantity set there and place in unit cost. This would also solve problem where PO value is incorret nevause of rounding.

Kevin Frye: This is already implemented. Dave sets a Order UOM and Order Units for products now with supplier prices. For this to work customers have to get the latest v13 server as this was fixed in a server update. http://downloads.d-tools.com/si/v13/SIServer.exe. We are planning a reccommended SI Server update next week with a few other fixes.

Naresh Nichani: what about a common use case where the item is bulk wire and the unit cost has five significant digits and 1000 units on a "spool". The per foot cost might need to be $0.12345 (spool price of $123.45) but we only store a unit price of $0.1234. The PO price for one spool will be $123.40 instead of $123.45.

Naresh Nichani: It's been a year Naresh - any update on this please? It's the single most annoying thing right now with D-Tools. :)

Shawn Lemay: This should work better now if you are on v15 or with latest v14 server. The data team does tag items with a UOM and price where possible and SI accounts for that when updating price. If you have issues with specific brands or products we have to take that up with the data team,
