-A prompt when returning an item that asks if labor is to be returned, would be a lot more efficient and useful than having to add labor in order to balance it out any refunded. Can be cumbersome when a lot of items are being returned on top of new items being added which need labor, especially if new items are to be charged at a different labor rate than the new products sold.
-A prompt when adding new items to a change order that asks what Labor Type is to be applied instead of the default type the project was approved under which could be an outdated labor rate.
-A setting to change or set default payment terms on all change orders contracts so they don't always default to the payment terms the project was approved under which in case where the project was 20/30/40/10, that is pretty useless for change orders.

We've been using calculated allowances for Shipping and Misc. and it has been working out well. Once the project is approved, the amounts are frozen and you can then cost things against them. They are even lockable.

I assume you are referring to the Price Adjustment values, and that you are using one of these for "Shipping"? Or are there other values you looking for more control over for Change Orders?
