Cloning - new location, keep sublocations

For rooms that are similar, specifically to sub locations, I would like an option to change the primary location, but keep product grouped by sublocation. For example, in classrooms, we may have sublocations like "Desk", "Rack", "Ceiling". If we select all the product and clone it, we can pick a new classroom, but all the product is assigned to the classroom and the sublocations are lost.

It's interesting how different approaches like using "Systems" for organization can streamline processes. Have you considered a hybrid model to maintain sublocations when cloning rooms?

We used to organize our proposals like this, but like you pointed out, it caused problems with cloning whole rooms. Now, we use a single location for every room and use "Systems" to organize the individual locations. It makes cloning rooms a breeze plus it looks better on the proposal printout itself.

I completely agree — it would be really helpful to have an option to change the primary location while keeping products grouped by their sublocations. Losing sublocation assignments when cloning items to a new room can be frustrating, especially in classrooms with multiple sublocations like “Desk,” “Rack,” or “Ceiling.” Preserving Wacky Flip that structure would save time and make inventory management much more accurate.

This appears to be a feature request for your system: You want an option to clone or move products from one primary location (e.g., Classroom A) to another (e.g., Classroom B) while EZPassKY retaining their original sublocation groupings (e.g., Desk, Rack, Ceiling).
