Very useful for non-partnered vendors, as long as the users can be controlled under the security settings.

Some (very few) may have automatic/full ability to update instantly. But I suspect most would fall under a need for review. So, a button that reads "submit to DB manager for catalog update" may be a better wording. Where such requests are sent to DB/catalog manager. upon review accepts and or rejects the request/change to the catalog.

A push notification via email would be a great option. Being a part time app manager accessing the app sporadically, I would not see an in app messages promptly enough.

This could be very valuable, especially for users with mature catalogs. For newer users and fresh catalogs, I recommend turning on the "Update to Catalog" prompt. After a while this just becomes an annoyance when you stop needing it. This suggestion points to the specific need for minor catalog updates without needing to initiate another command.

This should be added to Mass Update and the Mass Update for a specific field.
