Price History Tracking on Items

The ability to show the items pricing history. As well all know we've had major price increases over the last 6 yrs. Many manufacturers have had lots of increases, and it would have been very helpful to track who has done what. Possible to add this moving forward? ALSO Tracking the Margin degradation on our end

You can use the Find Usages option in the catalog to see all the projects and items has been added to over time. This includes quantities, cost, price, etc.

Jim Yadon From the catalog, select an item or items to see history. Click Tools -> Find Usages -> In Projects. This loads a list of items with usages and when you click on an item, it populates all instances of the usage with details (cost/price, labor, etc.)

Kevin Frye - Hi Kevin, thank you for the workaround :) I see that is possible. As Jimmy Parker confirmed, this idea is intended to be able to see all of the information in one space. A timeline/price graph would be even more valuable for seeing trends and monitoring who is doing what with our margins. Is there an easy way to export those old usage price and turn them into something on a separate program? Thank you for your input!! Always appreciated

john wieschendorff Yes, you can export the report from the window that shows the data.

Would be great to be able to move price increases to an external change order without having to delete and re-add the item with correct pricing.
