Proposal Expiration Date
Travis Bilskie
With all the changes in today’s industry and most of us practicing a proposal only valid for x # days. it would be amazing to see a quote expiration date field in the proposal information setup that gets included in the standard reports cover page.
Users could manually select a date or even have it automatically calculated based on a selection of 30, 60, 90 days from proposal creation or something like that.

@Hello Neighbor Including a quote expiration date field in the proposal information setup and having it reflected on the standard reports cover page is a valuable suggestion to address the need for quote validity periods. This feature can provide transparency and clarity to both the users and clients regarding the timeline of the proposal.

This is possible already by using any Project Number Custom Field, where we might put in days, and then we can Use that field to calculate an expiray date to be written in proposal terms section maybe. Another option can be to use the estimated close date from Project information and putting it on a custom cover page.
Also, this feature is already available in Customer Portal too.
Whereby you can set the expiray for the the proposal you are posting to the customer.
