Purchase orders from Service Orders

It would nice to link to create PO's based off service orders. Often times we do a service call that needs parts we have to order. So the tech adds the parts to the SO (service order) and then our office has to add those parts again to a PO. Double data entry here.
Also, when running reports those PO's arent linked to a client so its frustrating to track if those items have been received.
Seems like creating PO's for SO's should be the same as for when creating PO's for projects.

We really need this functionality. We can add parts to a SO, but can't issue a PO. Missing link. V19 please.

1000% agreed. We need this function.

Travis Bilskie: We are planning this for our v19 release.

Seth: what’s the eta of that? I know v18 is just now happening.
Also, can you look at my other post about more detailed notifications of pos?
Seth
Travis Bilskie: v19 is slated for "sometime this summer". Will review the PO request.

Are there any updates on this one request? I'd love to be able to generate Quickbooks PO's from a Service Order--this would be far better than our current manual process of printing and collating!

This feature would allow our company to be substantially more efficient for service that we provide to our customers. About 1/2 of all the work our company does is service related. Please implement this feature ASAP!!! It would be GREATLY appreciated.
