Instead of throwing an error to select the manufacturer from the list, give a "Do you wish to add "Manufacturer?" as a prompt.
Also if I have typed in something that isnt in the list, and click
new
, dont throw that error again, pop up the new dialog prepopulated with the vendor i typed in.N

Make sure to put this behind a permission though, we don't want all users to make random manufacturers like 'Clestron"

John A: In our words, we don't let just anybody add products to catalog or create new products. Only the engineering team can do that. Others can only add products from catalog at which point the manufacturer is locked.
