I have a project where I added and additional Tax in the main project. When creating COs for the project, the Additional Tax shows up on every CO report. The project summary repot shows $40K in taxes on a $100K job. The additional tax field is greyed out in the COs, so I can’t remove it.

Taxes set on the original project pass through to any CO by default. However, you can edit taxes for each CO as desired. Please notice the "Additional Tax" column to the right of your list of change orders in the Project Tax Settings window. You should be able to click into the column and change the value.
Please let us know if there is still an issue.

Kevin Frye Thank you. That worked. Would have never found it without your help. (We won't be using this feature again. It does not transfer to QuickBooks, so didn't help us. We created a product to recapture use tax in some projects).
