Project Won't Check-in
I have a project that refuses to check-in. Pic attached showing error message.
Labor Type & Time Going to 0
I'm working in v20 and have realized that after adjusting cost, MSRP and price, the phase and time is going to 0 or unassigned
In Visio, when selecting nothing, you select everything
When accidentally pressing Ctrl-V (Paste) without Ctrl-C, Visio starts pasting everything on page and adds it to database (selecting like you're pressing Ctrl-A) including OPR's! This is very frustrating as it takes long time to wait until D-Tools is ready with copying and is absolutely unwanted. I see this as a big bug!
Copying Items Marked for Deletion
In one approved project, I have added some items to change order, and some items marked for deletion. I use Change Order Filter to select all items in my changeorder. I copy them using right click menu, and then paste them into another approved project.. The items marked for deletion under old project are added as new items into new project. The system should not pick up and paste items marked for deletion when I am trying to copy and paste them Please see attached screenshot
Cannot update up-to-date client
Trying to connect to the server, SI says to update the client yet the client is up to date.
Items deleted in CO continue to show
We deleted items in a CO but two of them continue to show when adding a PO and when exporting to excel. In the first screenshot the 12 Aurora products were deleted in an approved CO. In the second screenshot two of them continue to show when exporting to Excel. And finally, they continue to show when creating Pos as shown in the third screenshot
Visio Accidental Double Right Click
Will it be possible to remove the accidental double click (left and right) from Visio drawings. Sometimes, we want to right click the product shape in drawings, and it opens the product editor window.
Component IDs Regenerate when re-opening project: not accurate or consistent with field install. No way to stop this?
Using the Insert Drawing Pages feature I import drawings for an existing system that needs to be updated. Upon inserting pages, the component IDs are correct on products and wire. I then select all - lock project items. If the project is closed and reopened, all component IDs change to our new standard of component ID formats. I need the old standard to be retained and reflect labels installed in the field. You can see in the picture there is a single character difference on products, as well as bulk wire between our old and new standard. It would be great if the new standard was not forced on products unless its a new product being added. Every time the project is opened it regenerates the IDs if they do not match the new standard. Can we get a check box or similar to tell Dtools not to adjust component IDs unless a regeneration is desired?
Since the latest version of D-Tools installed on my device 20.22.4403.0 the Visio is totally unstable when building schematics. I'm constantly getting memory leaks like the attached causing Visio to crash, changes lost and having to re-open. There's no patten to what causes the memory leak e.g. importing shapes etc. Thankfully I've set visio to autosave every 5min otherwise I would be cursing allot more.
