First Issue: I added status filters to my custom layouts for tasks. I have several custom layouts. Upon closing and re-opening SI, the chosen custom layout persisted, but the filtering did not. I had to select a different layout and then return to the first layout in order for it to apply the filer.

Second Issue: It would appear that the tasks tab in the Project Explorer utilizes the same custom layouts as the Task Explorer, however the filters do not apply on the task tab at all. Doesn't matter if we choose other layouts and return back as previously mentioned, the filters no not apply. This create a hardship as some projects have several dozen completed tasks that aren't filtered and it buries the open action items.
