Projects need to sync with Customer:Job from QuickBooks

I understand I have to map the items from SI to QB (or create them if they do not exist in QB). There is like three places in the SI program to Create/Map items from SI to QB. It is good so far.
Now, when you go to "Create a Purchase Order" from SI to QB, the mapped items populate in "Accounting Item Name" and the ones that not, you just create them. The problem is that the Job number does not populate. There is no place to MAP SI project numbers to QB Customer:Job names. So, many times (too often) we create Purchase orders that have items for different projects. It is very difficult to check the PO line item by line item to identify Customer:Jobs in QB for each line item of the PO. It is a hassle (or a bug) becuase someone in the programming team forgot the MAP customer:Jobs feature in SI. It is a feature that if not there, the Integration with QB is not complete. It is a big BUG !
There is the option of creating the Customer:Job in QB from the info in SI when you create an Estimate in QB from the items in project in SI. The relationship between SI Project and QB Customer:Job should stay there from that moment.
A feature request would be to have then the option of "Re-Mapping , Delete Project Map, etc"...
As mentioned, without "Project Mapping from SI to QB" the integration with QuickBooks is incomplete. This is imperative that this works to call it an integration.

Please make sure that you send an estimate to QB first. During this process, SI will create the Customer:Job to match the name in SI. Once this is done, the Customer:Job lookup works well.
I do think you have a point though. Some sort of simple Customer:Job mappign scheme might be more reliable than the current name lookup method.

Kevin FryeHi Kevin, I know Customer:Job look up works. But it is not mapped. Even when creating it from SI when "exporting" the Estimate to QB.

Kevin FryePlease, believe me, without the possibility of mapping projects from SI to QB, the integration from SI to QB is just a mere work in progress.
