Saving .xlsx reports doesn't work properly

The default for exporting a report as Excel is .xlsx, however the file is saved as .xls and always opens the file with a caution that the file type doesn't match. Manually selecting saving as .xls or manually changing the file type to .xlsx after it's saved resolves this. Either changing the default to .xls or fixing the file type when it's saved will resolve this.

I was unable to replicate this on our end. My recommendation would be to ensure server/client are up to date and also be using desktop versions of Excel may help with that as well.
